This was an interesting article I found about why rejections sometimes come as form letters. It is written from the prospective of an agent. She receives over 500 queries a week. As much as I’ve tried to plot before writing, I just can’t seem to do it. I tend to take an idea and run with it, allowing the story and plot to unfold as I type.
